Trust solutions
Overview
Trusts have always been an integral part of the estate planning process for high net worth clients.
Trust law and inheritance tax law have evolved considerably over the last few years, particularly following the introduction of new inheritance tax legislation in 2006 and 2008. As a result, Legal & General has launched a new suite of trust deeds that are designed to:
- Complement changes that are taking place in Legal & General
- Complement changes that are taking place within the broader financial services industry
- Provide greater flexibility and scope for writing business
- Offer continuity with other providers
The Trust Decision Tree is provided to assist you in determining which type of trusts are most suitable for your clients.
