International Portfolio Bond - How to apply.

Our products are only available through Independent Financial Advisers.

1. Request a quote.

To request a quote call our dedicated Distribution Support Team on 0845 6740 803 or email us to request a quote. Call charges will vary.  We may record and monitor calls.

2. Submit an application form and Client Identification documents.

Irish Anti Money Laundering (AML) requirements differ from the UK. To ensure you have included all the necessary information with the application please use our @inlinemarker@ AML checklist (PDF: 129KB) @inlinemarker@.

2a. Application pre-vetting (this is recommended).

To ensure the application process goes smoothly, we recommend that you use our free pre-vetting service. You can send your client’s application form and Client Identification documents to us for pre-vetting either by fax or as a scanned attachment via email.  When we receive the application, pre-vetting will be done within 24 hours where possible. Once pre-vetting is complete you can then send us the original application and Client Identification information in the knowledge that you’ve satisfied all requirements.

3. Application accepted by us.

When we receive an application and Client Identification documents we will check everything thoroughly. If we need any more information we’ll get in touch, but this isn’t likely if you’ve gone through the pre-vetting process

4. Investment premium processed and trades placed.

When we receive all the required documents, the investment premium is processed and the selected assets are purchased.

5. Post sale documentation issued.

Post Sales Information (PSI) pack

Generated and dispatched to the Policyholder(s) on the day after the application is processed. The PSI pack is sent to all Policyholders, this includes

  • PSI covering letter to client
  • Cancellation notice
  • Post sale illustration

Welcome pack

Issued to the primary Policyholder (or a third party), as instructed by the customer. The welcome pack will be issued within five days of the application being processed.

The welcome pack includes:

  • Welcome pack folder
  • Welcome / policy covering letter
  • Policy schedule
  • Policy Provisions
  • How the Bond works document
  • Initial transaction statement
